20 Books Of Summer 2021 #20booksofsummer21

Hello, bookworms 🙂
I have never done well with the TBR thing or reading challenges, but I am going to challenge myself to the famous 20 Books of Summer Reading Challenge this year.

I found about this challenge at Misty’s blog, and I am already excited about it.

This challenge takes place from June 1st to September 1st, and is hosted by Cathy from 746 Books. If you have never heard of this challenge, which I doubt, go to Cathy’s announcement post and take a look at the rules 🙂

I am going to go with this challenge on the theme of ‘summer/beach reads’ which mostly consists of light, fluffy reads such as cozy-mysteries or women’s fiction including romantic comedies.
I may throw in some psychological thrillers (one of my favorite genres) as I go depending on my mood, but the word ‘summer’ always makes me want to go for something light and not too heavy.

Now, without any further ado, let’s take a look at my TBR, shall we?

Gosh, it took me quite some time to come up with a TBR for this challenge. As I said earlier, I am quite a mood reader and I tend to be swayed by the aftertaste of a book I’ve just finished.

For that reason, I have the faintest idea if I manage to stick with my TBR, but thank goodness, the rules for this challenge is really lenient and allows me to change course or switch books as I go 😊 Hopefully, I can read all these books that have been sitting on my Kindle for some time and enjoy them all.

There you have it; this is my TBR for 20 Books of Summer Reading Challenge.

How about you? Are you participating in this challenge as well? Let me know in the comments, let’s have a chat 🙂

Thanks for dropping by as always, and I’ll see you in my next post.

  1. I love the looks of your list, Noriko. Those cozies look good and some of the more serious ones are on my TBR, so I will see what you think. Have fun and enjoy all your books.

  2. Good luck with your challenge, Noriko! They all look very entertaining and very summer-y- Iloved The Good Sister- hope you enjoy it too.
I am a mood reader too, perhaps I could start with a lower number for this challenge to make sure I complete it…
